In 2002 I started trading a lot with people from Finland. One of the artists I came across was Jani Hirvonen who recorded under the name Uton. There seemed to be a lot of similarities in our approach to sound and indeed in later years we would collaborate and release records under the name 'Nthnth/Sthsth'.
Pseudohumanoid is an album Jani sent me for P.A release. It catches him in classic Uton mode- weird psychedelic drones, malfunctioning amps (in the best way) and a ghost of the classic folky mystery of old Finland.
